Wind Turbine Making Workshop 3rd-5th September 2010
Renewable Energy at Home 6th July 2010
About 60 people (not including the speakers and helpers) came to hear about how we can deploy solar electricity, solar hot water and air or ground source heat pumps in our homes. Also how much money we can earn from the Feed in Tariff (FIT) by doing so, and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which will be introduced next year. The evening was split into two parts - first we listened to some experts and also to householders who had installed systems tell us about their experiences. Then we split into groups to discuss the different topics in more detail.
